Will someone help me. I want hide my humdifiers and need some ideas. They are taking up to much space there is a total of three! I want them out of the inclosure. It is now full of orchids and I have more coming in! If you can take a look at my gallery pics. I need HELP
I dont know how big it is...but you can get a clay orchid pot. the ones that have slots...and see if it fits into one...then you can run the wire through the holes.
or you can get those bamboo stakes and tie them together to make 2 mini walls, if you will, adjoining, using a small 90 degree wooden hinge type of thing nailed on the inside corner for support, each other and just cover it up and cut out holes as needed for the wire...
Attach a shelf on the outside back of the enclosure. Set the humidifier on it and make a tube of some sort to connect the humidifier outlet to a hole in the enclosure.
Not only does it get the equipment out of the box, but it will refresh the interior volume with moist air.

That's a good idea. Unfortunately I have no room in the back. Now I do have room on the top, but since steam goes up that would not work. Putting them on the side would not work either, no room. now you see my delima.
if you can fashion an airtight duct from the humidifier to the terrarium, you should be ok, even if the actual humidifier is on top. after all, the water has to go somewhere...
that said, I'd still recommend the duct enter at the bottom of the terrarium if possible. kinda like a big u-shape.
I dunno, it sounds feasible in my mind. but I could be totally wrong.
With the height it might be to long of a duct. Most of the moisture might condense and a lot of the moisture may not make it. I'll post the height measurements tomorrow and get your thoughts.
Hello I have the soloution for your terrarium. Use one of those sonic disk humidifier that you see maybe in a local greenhouse. they put out what looks like smoke from a dish. I use one im both of my miniature 2 teir greenhouses, the humiditity stays around 80% with fans runnning all the time.
