Isopod Culture
Default Isopod Culture.

Yes, they're sometimes called pill bugs or woodlice. They are very useful along with springtails in a vivarium to eat animal waste and uneaten food. Without a cleanup crew a vivarium will begin to smell. Some people make a hobby of raising the different varieties, white, blue, cow, clown, and orange are some that I've seen. I raise Powder Orange and dump half of the culture into the Rain Forest viv every few months to replace what the Geckos eat.
