Default 40 gallon Evil Viv

I finished stripping a previous vivarium and am now building my 40gal "Evil" dart frog vivarium. After much research and looking around (see "Experts lead the way" thread) I have now started the long process of construction. Also have started getting the plants, orchids, frogs, and other items for the vivarium. The future home owners (a 2.5 year old pair of Red D. Galacts) are in QT until the viv is built

Well not too much in way of any interresting pics as of yet: But here you go anyways

Well every viv starts somewhere, lol., here is the 40gal stripped with the early stages of the false bottom glued in.

And because that pic is kinda boring: here is a pic of the future inhabitants, my two Red Galacts in their temporary home.

Oh yes, getting the orchids that I have into my 18x18x24 exo terra for my D. Imitators is what got me inspired for this vivarium. I have three orchids that I have traded art for waiting for this vivarium to be completed, still a few orchids and other plants on the need to get list, but I figure I'm at least 3 weeks from starting to plant anything.

I should have posted a link to this thread first off....

Experts Lead The Way!

I have quite a few vivariums with dart frogs, and a ton of other reptile and amphibian species that I'm working with. Every once in a while you will come across a themed vivarium on some of the dart frog specific web forums. Some are Mayan themed, and other themes go as far as "star wars" themed. I think they all look corny and wanted to do a themed vivarium that didn't have action figures or painted statues to show the theme. So instead I will use both plant, orchid, frog, and landscape to depict my "theme".
