Phalaenopsis equestris 'B#100' AM/AOS
I used to have a rather large collection of Phal equestris types before all my mealy bug problems and the period of neglect that the orchids went through. But I never had this one, which I got last September. B#100 has very nice round blooms that look different from the wild type Phal equestris.
I Just wish that equestris blooms would last a bit longer and that it was possible to have all the buds in bloom at once... But you can't have everything!
I hope the colors aren't too messed up on your screens. The color of this one is extremely difficult for cameras to accurately interpret, and even with RAW files it's difficult to get right. And I need to upgrade my monitor to something with better/wider color gamut.

I haven't taken down the tripod / backdrop set up yet, but it's getting dark, so I'll leave everything in place and take a photo of the whole plant tomorrow. It's tiny!

I have a bunch of decorative pots that I use for taking photos or for top heavy blooming plants. This one is in a transparent plastic pot, in medium grade bark.

Based on the equestris plants I have and have had in the past, not by much. The exception I've seen so far is equestris semi alba, that plant is almost twice as large. The standard equestris tends to be as small, but with narrower leaves. I find it interesting that there is so much variation within one species.

So, it's not expectable to see two spikes in these. It may take too much energy from a small specie.
