Phal. schilleriana can grow into a large plant, but when happy it doesn't need to be large to bloom. In fact there's a huge difference between the terms "blooming size" and "fully grown". My schillerianas typically begin blooming with about an 8 - 10 inch leaf span, while when fully mature they have individual leaves of that size. When mounted they need to be watered at least once daily. In my experience, schillerianas and stuartianas like slightly brighter light than many other Phals, and since yours looks quite healthy I'd suggest moving it to a slightly brighter spot.

I’ll try moving it to a brighter spot and definitely keep an eye on the temps this winter. Im just over here trying to fix these culture issues one by one and eventually I’ll see some blooms. At least I had some good growth on it this year! *** Fingers crossed and bring on the waiting game***

Right now I've got spikes on two of my schilleriana. The others should follow soon!

Same here, shcilleriana and cousin stuartiana are all in spike right now. Dual spikes on the shcilleriana and the stuartiana is actually pushing out 3 spikes, including 2 from the same node which is a first for me! Should make an interesting display!

Sara keep up the temps and light and yours too will spike in no time! Keep us posted :-)

I bought one from Hausermann's in January 2016, along with a stuartiana. When they came I was startled at how tiny they were. Afraid to overwater, I went too far in the other direction, and the schilleriana died. The stuartiana is making a basal offshoot now. I think it's still far too small to flower.

I think we got ours close to the same time. I mounted mine (to my regret) so, it's small but sent out a nice spike. The Stuartiana was actually two plants in one pot (Hausermann's does that), it has never thrived (also mounted).)

Well now that's good news. I don't have either of these. I don't think they would like my temps.

Shannon, I keep mine 50 F / 10C minimum at night, with warmer days.
