Default Phalaenopsis bellina f. alba x self First Bloom

Hello All,

This is a first bloom seedling of Phalaenopsis bellina f. alba x self. Not sure where I bought this set of seedlings from but they have been growing on cork since April 2014, approximately 16 months. The only information on them is bellina f. alba x self, the tags are generic white labels written in sharpie so they are likely from an eBay purchase.

The majority are beginning to set spike and buds and this is the first to bloom. The flower is sweetly fragrant in the warmth of the day.

very nice, it does look like Phal. violacea var. alba 'Malaysia' rather than bellina to me though.

I could be wrong, the alba bellinas ive seen have more rounded petals and have a shade more green tint but theres probably lots of variation.

Well done! I agree. This was mostly mislabeled bellina var alba, which does not exist. It is inarguably violacea albas.
