its such a small plant....you can put it in any window that has sun light....not necessarily a bright window....Phals only need low to medium light....if it is too bright, all you need to do is put curtains....you can put this inside a terrarium or an old fishtank

Actually Bud this is a Phal that prefers medium light to get the best bloom out of it. I also recommend you give it constant moisture not the wet vs dry season. It might be the reason you lost some of the original spikes.

When your plant is more mature it will produce blooms year round. It produces spikes from each leaf junction and again, it doesn't depend on a season but on maturity.
