Thank you all !!! It's a newbie for me also. My new member/friend gave me the plant, she's a Phal guru and collector ! We've traded and given chids back and forth between us. I have 9 from her, 7 of which are Phals and 6 of those are species ! It's GREAT to have a friend like that !!!!!

I had one once, but it died after an outbreak of spider mite while I was on holidays. It had never bloomed, so I never knew what I was missing. I think I have to get another one and try again. So beautiful!

Species are hard to get in Canada unfortunately... Ezil, have you tried looking at Paramount Orchids? They had pallens last time I checked. I bought one from them this summer, and it's been doing pretty well with 3 new leaves.

Now, I reaallly need to find a way to get Phal. corningiana. That plant is like impossible to find here!!!!
