Ooo, now this one I love even more, especially the delicate blue!! I've been thinking about getting an equestris for a while and the more of them I see on here, the more I think one should go on the list

Are their conditions the same as other Phals? or do they have their own quirks?

Really nice. I'm planning on an equestris at some point. The flowers are so tiny and cute!

That's very pretty. I like the color.

Jenny, equestris is one of the easiest orchids I've ever grown. They bloom freely......all the time, Keiki freely, and sometimes both at the same time. It's really pretty bomb proof.

Very nice! Good to see I'm not the only equestris nut around here. I need to get one or two from this cross.

this is a fab one too!! thanks for posting Rangiku!

Jenny, I have had 3 different ones for a few years.. yes they are "easy" as long a you have the "right conditions "..
IMHO - they like to be be moister than normal Phals But at the same time - roots need to dry out & drying out for a day or two is not a problem.... I have nearly lost mine to root rot a couple of times in the past.5/6 years.
always 'got them back' ..
Luckily they are tough little plants & make Keikies so I now have about 6 plants from 2/3 originals & have learnt (like for all orchids) that 'watching the roots' is the most crucial.. once you have found the 'optimum care' in your conditions they thrive & are easy! and are gorgeous!
GOOD LUCK§
