Default coerulea variety of violacea

Previously I posted an alba form of Phal. violacea. This time I am posting a coerulea variety. This is a first bloom of a selfing of a Phal. violacea var. coerulea. The flowers are small (natural spread 1-1/2 inches). The petals have a slight reflex backwards. There is a slight tinge of light avocado green bordering the edges of the sepals and petals.

Hi Steve. I picked up this plant from Orchid Center in Waianae. There was a wide range of colors in the batch. Some were pure yellow. I believe Orchid Center will be selling these and the alba form at the Honolulu Orchid Society Show on October 9-11, 2009 at the McKinley High School Cafeteria.
