Default Yellowing around edge of leaf…

Hello all! 2 of the phals that have had for quite some time just recently in the last 6 months or so are showing some yellowing on the edges of their leaves. What are possible causes or most likely cause for this? Both of them are smaller with flowers maybe 1 1/2 to 2”. They are kept in different locations. I have always found my phals to be pretty hardy. The one shown in the pics was replanted back in October and then set 2 pretty flower spikes and is making new roots too. Some of the leaves are wrinkly too bit I’m working on that. I am trying to get better with orchids and learn as it is becoming a full on hobby. Thank you for the advice as always!

I don’t have an answer as to the why, but a few of my phals have developed similar yellow edges recently-ish and are otherwise perfectly healthy. One is Timothy Christopher, a mini, and the yellow edge is similarly pronounced like yours. I assume it’s a seasonal change of some sort. Days are now quite a bit longer in my area and temperatures are getting warmer.

This is typically an indication of too much light.

Perhaps it's a variegated hybrid like Vivien Sogo?

That could be. The one at home is white with purple stripes like the 'vivien sogo', but the yellowing just appeared recently and I've had it for at least 5 years.
I had read about yellowing leaf edges as being a sign of many things like lack of nitrogen or a light thing.
Just want to head off at the pass whatever it may be.
Then again, as one person stated it's a light thing.
Cause of the position of the sun this year, my orchids seem to be getting more sun and heat then recent years...Thanks again!

Thank you! In my resonse to Roberta below, I did mention that due to the position of the sun this year, it does seem that my windowsill is getting more sun and heat then in recent years. Always learning!

Easy problem to solve and no permanent damage inflicted

This happened to my phals en masse when I had them under too strong of lights and resolved itself when I reduced the intensity.

Could be seasonal but it's never happened before.
In my responses to others in this thread I did mention that due to the sun's position this year my windowsill seems to be getting more sun and heat than in the past.
Thank you for your advice!
