Default Phal Tetraspis Coerulea

This is my Phal Tetraspis Coerulea. It likes to grow a flower spike and only bloom 1 flower. It then proceeds to grow an entirely new spike and bloom only 1 flower. It is now on its 4th spike.

It is also growing in such a wild manner that it needs its own shelf. My Phal is a drama queen.

I like that you've trained the spikes upward. I need to do that with mine.

I felt like I had to, it was taking up soooo much space letting them hang. It really needs to be mounted so it can just go wild, I think. But I worry about keeping it watered when I’m out of town for work/vacation.

I keep thinking I’m going to get this impressive floral display, and each spike just puts out 1 flower 😑. Maybe one day 😆🤞🏼.

I think it's doing what comes naturally... one flower (or occasionally 2 or 3) per spike at a time, produced sequentially for months or years. Eventually it'll get big and strong enough to have more spikes, then you'll get a bigger "show" but I think never a mass of flowers on a given spike. Just not the habit of this section of Phals. You can't argue with Mother Nature.
