Phalaenopsis violacea Male
Default Phalaenopsis violacea

It finally flowered!

Last year by this time it was spiking, but it never produced any flowers. The spike later dried out. It didn't even try again.

This year, well it was actually still last year, it spiked again and finally managed to produce a flower. Smells great.

Lovely bloom! I've always liked the way the color blends in violacea.

It looks great! And I love the scent of this species' blooms also. Congrats on flowering it.
