Default Phalaenopsis equestris 'Three Times a Lady' x 'Blue Too'

Hello all,

I've had this particular plant for at least 13 years. I had it mounted on a corn plant (Draceana house plant) about 5 yards from my window for 12 and a half years. It didn't do much growing and really did not look like it was suffering. Since it looked healthy I just figured I would give it time. Then I decided enough was enough and a decade was more than enough time. About 8 months ago I put it in Semi/Hydro and about 3 feet from my window and these are the results!

Here is the oldest post I have concerning this plant, back from 2007!

Fantastic! So - originally it was mounted on a corn plant? Growing pretty much bare-root before?

Tindo, outside your window? As in outside/outdoors? My mind immediately runs to "New York is cold!" It's lovely, as is your photography but, please explain a bit further.

Happy plant. Happy plant owner. Congratulations on finding the right niche for both of you.

SouthPark - Yes bare root though I had some sphagnum around the roots for some of those years.

Dolly - Thats three feet from my window on the inside. No way it would survive our winters.
