Ok i think i figured it out. I posted them from a private album on my profile. No one can see them except me and the moderators (thats why roberta could see them)

Now ive made the album public. Did they appear now?

Ok here is a side by side!

Clearly the 4n is quite a bit larger and the stiffness of the flower causes it to be held and shaped differently.

The coerulea is a bit cupped but im no judge, and i think the form is elegant and color contrast is really beautiful.

As far as i can tell they smell exactly the same but the 4n seems a bit stronger. Perhaps its the genome but it may just be because there are more flowers. Either way, you catch wiffs of these plants anywhere in the house.

These plants are maturing quickly so next year we may start to see the tigrina style clusters of flowers. I wont be too suprised if the 4n has 10 flowers next year and that will be quite a spectacle!

Weird. I can see the second one from yesterday 5/23. Wonder if there is a problem with the gallery. I lost access altogether, got it back on Verizon but on Spectrum

I don't see the new photos, either.

If I hit the Quote button to Louis' post I see his message plus the markup language that's supposed to show the image. (I've monkeyed with it so the software doesn't treat it like an image):
[I MG]htt p://www.orchidboard.c om/community/members/17230-albums1739-picture13843.jpg[/I MG]

These are awesome! They still have a little bit of growing to do but they are currently about 4" across. Not bad for a first bloom!
When I highlight the link to the photo and try to open it I only get a black screen.

Here is the coerulea! Needs another day to fully open, and the scent kicks in on day 3. The scent is strong and just like tigrina.

Ill post a comparison with photos in a few days when both flowers are fully mature
