Cattleya hybrid identification inquiry - Orchid Board

It is rarely possible to get a positive ID for an unknown orchid hybrid. An indication of size and a good picture of the whole plant might at least allow "probably some of this and some of that" speculation.

Could possibly take a look into type different crosses ----- one is Porcia, and the other is Portia.

The chance of ID'ing is small though, as it's hard to say what it is. But very nice flower!!!

I agree. Seeing the whole plant, this is a Cattlianthe hybrid of some kind, probably Guarianthe bowringiana ancestry with both unifoliate and bifoliate Cattleya. Cattlianthe Porcia is the archetype for this, but identifying the actual cross is unlikely.
