Thank you and I will definitely take some picks in the morning. I believe a lot of it has to do with its location in the house if you are referring to the temp range. My house is 190 years old in a sinking city. Its insulation is crap, not a single door is level with the frame, there are cracks everywhere, and when the brick gets wet, it stays wet. I love this tiny place but I'm glad that I rent it, lol! My thermostat is also upstairs in the hottest room of the house. The downstairs living room (where this terrarium is) will be the first and, usually, only room to cool off in the summer, it's typically about 5-8 degrees cooler than the rest of the house at night. In the winter, it's the last room to heat up and, again- thermostate is upstairs in the hot room, and it usually stays 5-10 degrees cooler depending on how much cool air is leaking in from outside and especially if my husband lowers the thermostate at night (IF if don't catch him

).
and how the humidity stays so high? not a clue. My other terrarium struggles to stay above 75% but it's a bit larger. Maybe because it's small and has so much crap in there? I triple checked it with different hygrometers because I wasn't convinced the first one was reading correctly.
