Hi DC

Nice images. Great looking plant. Your plant does look like a parent could be T. intermedia. The curly part to the plant is a Tillandsia called "curly slim". Which is T. intermedia x streptophylla. Another cross that looks the same is T. intermedia x T. cotton candy.
