there is an off shoot on the inflouresces that has 5 buds as well. it is still green and as of now seems uneffected. in addition, there are still 5 developing buds that are green on the main spike. i will wait to see if they too will meet their demise. would you suggest cutting the spike (first waiting to see what happens of course)? so strange. thanks for the input, ross. d.
