Stanhopea wardii pbulb propagation question

these guys bloom by sending a spike down into the media and out the bottom of the pot. Does your pot have large holes at the bottom or is it a normal, clay pot?

I'm aware of the particularity of these plants. That is not a clay poy, it's plastic and it doesn't have any holes large enough for a spike to come out.
When I potted it, these pbulbs were inside of a plastic bag for more than 2 weeks, so an urgent potting was the priority...and I couldn't find a basket anywhere.
If this plant survives, when it's bigger I'll change into a suitable pot.
