I've been doing a lot of reading on this plant (also see IdahoOrchids thread on hints for the plant http://www.orchidboard.com/community...-proj-4-a.html ) and everything I've read says that this plant does best mounted.

Also, for those with vivariums or orchidariums, it would be a great candidate for upper section of the tank. As one of the referneces states 6-9" from the lights (I think this may depend on the type and strength of the lights however.) Since my
mistking system runs 4-5 times a day, it will suffice for the wetness needs.
