Additionally, the little green spot in the last 2 pictures has remained the same. It is a little bump that looks like it may become another root. Does anyone think it could become a root too from the pics? Thanks!

I had some phals, that were loosing all their roots due to being planted in spag. I cut off all but a few green nubs, and like you. wrapped the base in wet spag, lightly fastened with a twisty. Left these outside in the shade but with high humidity and sprayed them everyday. now have some roots that are looking healthy. will pot them in small bark soon.
