Aloe dyeri
Hi all,
Another from the New York Botanical Gardens (NYBG). I hope you all enjoy it. Second photo shows the plant tag and the foliage.
About the plant tags.
NYBG seems to not want to update their tags. For Aloes and related species they have three families that they belong to.
Aloeaceae
Asphodeleacea
Xanthorrhoeaceae
So they have three species of Aloe's in three different families which can lead to confusion.
I believe the current taxonomy accepts Asphodeleaceae as the family for all Aloe's and related genera.
