Phragmipedium Don Wimber 'Pisgah' Male

Tindomul,
The ‘Pisgah’ clonal name probably arose from Owens Orchids being close to the forest. I believe Russ Bolt from Looking Glass Orchids used to work for the Owens. He grew all their Cattleyas in Promix HP and still does.

Probably is. I stopped by Owen's after a hiking / brewery trip up to Brevard / Pisgah Forest. Really beautiful area!

I didn't realize looking glass orchids had closed. I think it was next to Owen's but it was closed for holiday when I stopped by. Shame!



Your plants are always fantastic, Bayard. Are these able to hold the blooms up without support?
