Overwatering issues with s/h? Male

Appreciate the feedback. It really helps determine what direction I want to go, or to at least modify my current culture methods to more closely mimic what you do.

I do accept your 3 points as facts, although my grow chamber is in a spare bedroom on carpet, so:

1. I want to water in the chamber, and only take them out once a month to flush. I am dumping the reservoirs every other watering. If I use your pot design, I would need to take all plants to the sink every time I watered. I.E, 4 times a month versus once. Knowing me, I would NOT do that.

2. I use distilled water, so salt buildup should not be as bad as those using tap water. Thus, my thinking is that 2 dumps and a single flush each month hopefully will be adequate.

I will not allow the pots to go completely dry now, and will more rigid on the reservoir dumping.

Again, thanks for everyone's help on this thread. There is a higher number of viewers on this thread, so hopefully many more people are learning from this rather than just me!
