Thanks sooo much! I will definitely feel better about using it now! I still haven't been able to make my way to ikea to get some but soon!

I can't believe that IKEA carries LECA! Wow.

Yes I just picked up a bag two weeks ago.

I wasn't aware until after I repotted that I had to presoak them as stated by Ray. I hope this doesn't affect them for now.

I've used it as well and like it, other than it does float more than other LECA I've picked up. I've taken to buying lava rock and topping up pots with that to prevent the LECA from floating away when I flush the pots.

Here's a photo of a fat new semi-hydro root enjoying the IKEA LECA.

And orchids too, at least here. As well as other plants.
They also sell different "kits" of 4 aromatic plants, in several combinations. I have some at home, such as basil, thyme, chives, etc. They sell the seeds, pots and medium in one package... and an instruction paper sheet.

Yes. They have Leca and you, Estacion, told me someone on the Board said it was pretty good. I bought some and it's doing what it does... holding the plant and releasing moisture...and it was cheap . Go for it!
