Both SuperThrive and K-L-N contain synthetic rooting hormones. ST has one, K-L-N has two, so like Joann, I believe you get more "bang for the buck" from K-L-N.
However, those synthetic hormones are quite chemically unstable, so it is important that you get a fresh bottle that is stored cool and dark, or they degrade to worthlessness fairly quickly.
Over the lest several months I switched from synthetic hormones to natural ones in a seaweed concentrate called Kelpak. I am so impressed with the lateral root growth I'm seeing that I'll probably never go back.
