Default When to move paphs to s/h?

I understand one of the key components to a successful switch is making sure there is new root growth. I'm doing pretty well with my phals and oncs in that respect. But how do I know when paphs are growing new roots?

I have three paphs all with different stages of growth on their new fans. Is there a standard size of the new fan when you know it has sufficient root growth or do I just have to un-pot periodically and poke around?

Thanks!

Paphs are quire remarkable in that they can be successfully transplanted at ANY time.

My phals are doing amazing in the s/h. All are putting out new roots and leaves, they love it.

I agree with Ray. I move all my Paphs into S/H the day I bring them home. I've moved Paphs into S/H when they were in flower anf they never skipped a beat.

Cheers.

Seriously? That's great to hear. I can't wait to switch them over and I thought it was potentially going to take forever.

Thanks

After reading that Phaps can be moved anytime this morning, I just finished moving two of my mini Phaps into s/h. Now I'm excited about watching thrive in s/h.

Do you cut the roots off as with other types?
