has anyone ever used viastone?

i found a LECA brand called viastone (by viagrow) in my local hydroponics store. i've never heard of it and cant find any reviews. i was wondering if any one else here has used it and if it is a reliable product? i am reluctant but curious. thanks for any help or advice.

Its LECA its neutral and I dont see anything other than thats a really big bag of it ..I use the HydroBalls at PetSmart..its LECA too but called HYDROBALLS...they can call it anything they want its the same thing...the biggest difference I see is the stuff I use isnt very pretty or uniform in color..The HYDROTON I've seen being used is all very pretty to look at but it does the same thing...So if you need PRETTY for top dressing it might not be very pretty uniform in color or sizes

I never heard of it either, but after googling it, it appears to be another brand of LECA as you said. Amazon and several hydroponic stores have a smaller 10-litre bag for $9.99 if you wanted to have a go.
