Geezzzz ladies, what are you complaining about!!! I only have ONE spike this year... over the past several years, I've had multiple spikes and tons of flowers! Well, maybe I'm glad both of you (Betty and Sheridan) don't live too close... Anyway, good growing to both of you!

I had an Iwanagara Apple Blossom 'Fangtastic' but it was quite a different colour -- no yellow in it at all. Is this a different variety?

Most of the Iwanagara you see have the white flower, but mine is yellow and probably not Fangtastic

I have noticed my Iwangara tends to slightly change color as it opens. I will send pictures when it blooms, has three spikes and a possible fourth. betty

Oh Howard, that is just gorgeous. How old in the plant? Mine is not anywhere near that size. I have had it for two years and I can't imagine that there will be that many blooms. How many spikes did it have? Just lovely, you really do have the touch.

I got this about 3 years ago in bloom from a local grower. I visit him almost every February for my B-day and almost always bring home something new and different. Originally it was in a 5" pot and last year I repotted into the same size pot and only the one spike! It has grown about half its original size.
