Overgrown to s/h?

My mini/dwarf catts arrived today and I want to put them in s/h but they are both quite overgrown and i not sure what to do! How would I go about doing this? Here are some pics:

Soak s h pellets for 24-48 hours. then you just soak the plant roots, take them out of those pots, clean off ALL debris. Get a plastic container, poke holes about an inch up. Plant the plants in the pellets. That's it

o ok I was just wondering if I had to cut off the arial roots or not

Do not cut the roots off once they are firm to the touch. Orcids needs healthy roots to do well.

I would recommend trying to coax those aerial roots into the S/H pellets. Hopefully they'll take to the S/H media pretty well. Also, if you have the time, soak the pellets and plant in Superthrive, or KLN root hormone to try and boost new roots that will be better accustomed to the new media environment.
