Default Oncidium Twinkle in S/H Blooming

First bloom for me on this one. Wasn't sure if the short root system would do well in S/H so I cut the pot way down and it has thrived.

It sure looks like a happy plant in s/h!I love the little blooms on the twinkle orchids. How long ago did you transfer it?

Yet another demonstration that pot/medium/watering regime does not fully define "orchid culture".

I have never been successful with that plant in S/H, so i recommend against it...

How far did you cut the pot down? How much space do you have above the holes now? I'm interested in moving my ornhithorhynchum to S/H but I'm a bit worried.

I transferred it about 9 months ago. It is in a 4" pot and the holes are 1" from the bottom.
