I'm so confused!

O.K., I'm not the brightest bulb on the Christmas Tree but I feel completely stupid and confused about this semi-hydroponic™ thing.

Al, has anyone been able to help you with you s/h questions? I would be more then happy to help but I have to go get ready for work and won't be able to take any phone calls for an hour and fifteen minutes. You know who would be great to talk to is Ray....have you tried him yet?

Thanks Becca, no, no one has taken me up on my request yet.
I am at this very minute reading Ray's site for the um-tee-nth time and still not "getting it". I'm intimidated by Ray!

Thanks to all the folks who answered my plea!
I did get my questions answered, I was on the right track, just a couple of details had to be worked out.

How about using this thread to set up a Chat date and time so we can all ask questions. Maybe some kind soul would volunteer to answer our questions. It would be much easier if there was just one person answering, otherwise we will just be further confused trying to follow three or four peoples advice.
Just a thought, let's hear some pro's and con's and if someone would like to head up the "project", now is the time to jump in. The first to agree to be our mentor will get the job.........
