Physan 20 in s/h

So I noticed one of my plants has some weird white filmy stuff floating...mold??... (looks like thin filmy spiderwebs) on the top of the reservoir. It's not very bad looking yet but I watered with 2 tsp of physan per 1 gallon and let it sit in the reservoir in case it should get worse later....... should I empty the reservoir or should I let it stay in there till the reservoir is empty?? is 2 tsp too much... i followed what it said on the bottle... any input would be appreciated?

After being in physan for an hour the reservoir got cloudy... not like milky cloudy but imagine water with like a tad of flour in it... i'm hoping the physan killed the stuff and thats whats causing the water to be cloudyish.. in any case i then unpotted the sucker and cleaned it out and put it in a fresh pot with hydroton and filled reservoir with clear water...any ideas on what it is... i'm guessing some kind of slimey mold?
