Default Moving to Las Vegas with orchids in SH for years

I have been caring for my SH orchids (cattleyas, Odon, phrag, paph and phal) in a heated GH for more than 12 years. They are doing great but now we are retiring to the Las Vegas area, with no GH. I will downsize but wondering how many of my favorites can I move with us. Any tips and suggestions on helping them adjust and thrive in that the hot and dry environment?
I can not find much info on their orchid society nor tips on desert orchid care/survival. Pls help!

Sounds like you need to speak with Estacion Seca.

Also do check out the Greater Las Vegas Orchid Society - it is a very active group with some excellent growers. GLVOS The Greater Las Vegas Orchid Society - Greater Las Vegas Orchid Society

Default Thank you!

Thank you for your replies.

Roberta, I had searched and read thru their site (GLVOS) but it is not very current except for their meeting schedule. I will try to connect with someone. Thank you.

Ms Estacion Seca....if you see my post, please respond and maybe we can communicate. Thanks Subrosa.

Just saw your post. See the red bar on top and you'll notice "Members". This will bring you to Mr. Seca info and getting in touch with him. Hope this helps.
