Orchid Bog

As requested, here are some pics of my orchid bog in progress. It's pretty much done from a planting standpoint, I just need to get off my lazy butt and finish the stone work.

Another one that wintered in the basement since the bog wasn't ready last fall. I'm hoping this proves hardy here since it was obtained from a nursery in FL.

If you keep them both outside exposed to unfiltered UV, barring an impact a clay pot will last longer than you do. Definitely not the case with most plastics.

I grew it mounted, very wet and very bright, and it thrived. Until a heat wave with a week of temps in the mid-upper 90s hit. It went in to tailspin immediately after and I lost it.
