Gorgeous colour and texture. The fuzzyness is probably an adaptation to cool temperature exposure. The flowers look fly or other carrion insect pollinated. Very intriguing.

Still in bloom a month later. 4 blooms in all but it currently only has two. The first bloom that I posted a month ago is now starting to fade. The fourth bloom was broken off while I was away. :(
