I buy standard 5-6" orchid pots, and then go over to Webstaurant store online and find either the Genpak SC032, if they're in stock, or the SC025, which are shorter and doesn't hold humidity as well....

I'm not sure that a temperature reduction is not necessary to initiate blooms, but I think it's safe to say that consistent diurnal ranges (e.g. over an entire season) are probably not necessary.
