You could always try the Den macrophyllum. That one seems to do well with my hot, steamy temps and is about the same size of orchid with similarly shaped bloom (and a nice n hairy back too, lol)

I found a couple of these on my Den laevifolium this morning. They had eaten off all three of the new growths and were inside whatever hole they had created. Iím not sure what kind of larvae this is...

Are you using well water in the humidifier? Thatís shouldnít have caused any problems in one day of use (and I definitely would have sent it back), but that can really wreck the machine over time.
