You might want to hang on to it a bit longer. They apparently need to be about 18" tall to bloom. Mine threw a keiki last year and is about 18" this year. Their bloom season is late summer-early...

I got mine Thursday and am not impressed with the plant or the TC. Mine was flat like a pancake with a couple of roots potted in tree fern fiber (I think)....
