Sometimes old leaves just drop off. They can look like this when that happens. If it were mushy or slimy I would worry about rot, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Is that leaf on one of the older pseudobulbs?

Is the leaf still firm, or is it mushy and soft? When you press on it, does the leaf skin slide off, leaving a sticky wet wound behind?
