The mount is about 1 x 2 feet with osmunda as the moisture retaining medium. I don't know about their preferred mount, but it did not like a pot.

Actually, it's about 12 inches below a 100 w LED plant light which would be the equivalent of full sun outdoors (minus the UV). I'm just north of you in Cleveland.
