I've read that once the pseudobulbs are completed you should withhold water and then only heavily mist every second day. Do you find this to be the case?

Phalaenopsis philippinensis ??? not sure

This is my first orchid i got this at a yard sale and nobody new what it was. I think it's a Phalenopsis phiippinensis but can anyone confirm this.
