I’m pretty relieved to hear that. The phalaenopsis was moved to a different, warmer room so that works out well. I also applied cinnamon so I hope that fixes the issue if there is an infection.

I actually just recently repotted it a couple days ago into the bark and sphagnum mix as it was potted in pure sphagnum, which I am certain would have led to me rotting the roots.

Thank you Fairorchids! I believe you are right, I think they are potted too high up in the pot. I will add a bit of bark to the top and hope that it corrects the problem.

I moved them under some grow lights, and repotted them into smaller pots, using a mix of bark and sphagnum. I also added a layer of sphagnum to help keep in a bit of extra moisture.

When watering my orchids I usually take them to the sink and water them with the tapwater.
