New Unnamed Neo.

Aloha All,

I wanted to share this new plant, it's unnamed so there are no expectations of what it's "supposed" to do or look like. I'm not entirely sure how to treat it, since it seems to have a...

Thanks for the info, would Neo. Aojiku Higuma also have Kon-fukurin?

Due to thick leaves, I'm assuming this plant will take a little higher light, in your experience, does that bring out the...

Neo. Rokyeom

Just received a package of new Neos and found this one particularly striking. It has large thick leaves that contort a bit, as well as having even thicker darker green bands on many of the leaf...

What kind of containers are you using? I found that I much prefer clay pots since I'm more likely to over water than let my plants dry out. If you're worried about root rot, that may help. Granted I...

Thanks for the advice. I had not been in the habit of removing old leave bases, but have recently started (and clearly not all of my plants have them removed).

This was after I had repotted my...

My plants had been neglected for a while (getting engaged/moving really took time away from staring endlessly at my plants), but I recently started getting my plants back after 6 months of someone...

Pay attention to your plant and see what it does. Hime seikai can be a bit of a slow grower, so enjoy each new leaf (and root) it produces. I have had one for a few years now and it has yet to bloom...

I hope everyone is doing well and finding time to enjoy their plants. My Takara-Nishiki has been getting a bit wild and so I tried staking it, it's my first attempt, and really just...

Aloha and Welcome!

Are the yellowing leaves at the bottom of the plant or the top? It is much more concerning if the top leaves are dropping off.

Have you inspected the roots? The most common...
