What kind of pot?
By this do you mean a regular orchid or clay pot that one can water but the water runs out right away so the roots don't stay too wet?
I am in a quandry about what to repot a similar epicyclia...

You have them in Full Water Culture. Semi Hydro is with Leca beads and a reservoir at the bottom of the vase/cup/container. Whatever works is what we do for our orchids.

But just wondering why you all are convinced that Semi Hydro is better than semi water culture. I have been researching both and trying to decide which way to go....

Mine is starting to lose flowers but still looks like it is sending up more spikes. I cut off part of the barren spikes but wonder if they will send out more lateral spikes? Or should I just cut them...

I do have them staked
I do have the spikes staked but once they are out of the sphagnum moss the stakes lean over a bit to the edge of the pot I have the bare roots in b/c the loose roots cannot hold the stakes...

I consider myself a newbie, b/c i have only recently really investigated how to grow phalaenopsis orchids.
I have had one white Phal for two years. Got it to rebloom a year later on old spike....
