our house gets down to about 57 at night. I have a fish heater on the main water pot and a heat pad under another. I have them on timers so they warm the water before needed then turn off.

not sure about gluing the valve back on. the hole is easy any bike shop has tube repairs. I would just buy a new tube.

we bought them in bloom. they did go through cold temps though they got normal water and food. I did not think not to feed them like my regular orchids.

they have been getting watered like this for about a year and the roots look good. we have. problem with air roots drying out so I think they are ok that way. but they go on a diet today.
