Hi all,

I've acquired a geodorum siamense, and I'm sort of in the dark on how to care for it. It's apparently deciduous (not sure what exactly that means - does it lose its leaves in the winter?)...

I got this at a grocery store a few years back and it is once again in bloom. Someone told me once it looks something like jiaho's pink girl. Whatever it is, it's one of my favourites.

Crisis averted! The brown just seems to be a kind of sheath. Forgive me, I'm not very experienced with coelogynes.

I accidentally broke one off and there seems to be a healthy bud underneath.
