sparksii is the darker flowered form with solid dark colour apart from the labellum. I like the variations in canaliculatum. Extremely variable species as far as flower form and colour.

Thanks. They need plenty of sunlight and dislike over watering or media staying wet for any length of time (especially winter). Ceramic pots dry out quicker so seem to be better for growing this...

My big ustii flowered 4 times in 6 months. I have never had a Vanda flowering like that. It just kept producing spike after spike and i'm not sure why.

Its a tough species of Vanda hard to go wrong with it. Grows well here outdoor with winter temps down to 1-2 C and flowers very well. One of my favourites.
