I'm not sure how tall its supposed to get, but I suspect that it won't get too much taller than it is. It is about 7.5" from top of bark mix to tallest leaf, that doesn't include the pot or the...

I've read they can bloom 2-3 times a year, but mine doesn't. I don't know if that is because it is still a younger plant or because I grow indoors, in windowsills. It was pretty small when I got it....

This little friend produced a 3rd spike this season. Perhaps to make up for the lipless wonders on the last blooming? At any rate, here are pics of the current blooming, as of this morning 11/11/16....

A little over 2 years ago. I've actually moved twice since then, and had a baby, so some things are taking a little longer to adjust.

Catasetum fimbriatum (I think)

I believe this is a Catasetum fimbriatum or a hybrid of it. I can't for the life of me where I purchased it. It only has 896 on the tag, which is a number Stephen Moffitt assigns to ... Catasetum...

This little friend had not bloomed for me since I moved from Alabama. No scent. Possibly time to repot. Sits in an South-East window, in a tupperware of pebbles and rocks. Also, sorry, these are not...

This little friend surprised me with a 3rd bloom this year. When I lived in Alabama it bloomed twice a year. I'm struggling to keep the roots around the pot from getting crispy, but I guess its happy...

BLC Hawaiian Passion Carmela

This is a second blooming for this one. Smells vaguely citrus-y. I blame my toddler for turning it while the blooms were forming, hence the wonky orientation

Cattleya aclandiae coerulea x leopoldii
